Thrush And Gallbladder

Carefully reviewed as a vampire hunter

The good old Dämonenkiller (1973-'77), remains my favorite novel, comic series (ignoramus would say trash booklet). He then took his end as the BPjS meant the need to protect sensitive German youth and the series duration indicated, logically, the Dämonenkiller also set by the publisher.
What have I got a 1983 the second edition have been published as books new! I found questionable given the hint " Carefully revised . I promptly wrote a letter to the editor (the time they made by hand on paper, stamped envelope) things known, and my hope That the novels are not neutered with censorship club. And actually got a reply in which I was assured that the were not the case - HA! No way!
They had so slam the jitters, the protection of young people with her bigoted / unworldly flowers morality, that whole sections were deleted from the text. Virtually all that bloody, gruesome or otherwise could be perceived as rude fell away - Hello! The Dämonenkiller was a horror series ! No horror stories for little girls but quite splattriger scary for guys.

And because it was at it, we have also censored the covers (so they are not replaced immediately by new ones). Here, for example, the human heads a) replaced by monster skull and b) simply painted over along with the hand. Obviously, one could in the 80s no longer have the show followed by disturbed in the 70s only ossified moralists. And it got even worse! Nowadays, one could not accommodate more times in the publishing houses, the censored cover, monsters are not only tolerated but Games bookstores .
Not true! The other day I was told, booksellers decide what's on the shelves and would nunmal mainly women, and do not garstgen monster. Well, I found the exaggerated'm in NEN bookstore and have looked at the cover - and really, there was nothing which would have raised me to take a book from the shelf, only a wasteland of decorative pictures and covers with beautiful people to one, with more or less veiled melancholy look, stare. As needs are yet no wonder, that reading is primarily a female competence now. What guy has bought a book with a languid, gay male model it? If anything, a brutal sweaty barbarian in the best abmetzelt Frazetta-style monsters - something would address low reading my instincts, because I know what is going on. The average guy puts ultimately and essentially a Neanderthal and no Waldörfler that should not be forgotten.
make this sense it is the right game producers who have significant male customers as they stay out of the book publishers. You can also scare off potential buyers ...

Ahhh ... OK, "carefully revised" ... When I read something I get a Crisis, it does nothing but somebody changed the text at will. You can swallow it if grudgingly, as korregiert in Perry Rhodan silver volumes logical errors and unnecessary parts (ie filler) will be removed - while the second also matters of opinion. Mmn is annoying (who is always determined what) where it is processed on the PC, the hero must stop smoking, ethnicity, etc. Something like falling off is often made in new editions of older books and novels, adapted the politically correct spirit of the times. But unfortunately, nothing new, almost all of the classic books by Youth Robinson Crusoe to Moby Dick have been revised out of recognition for children. Or would anyone here know that Robinson slave traders and was Moby Dick originally an incredibly tough, is more philosophical work?
And so right next to it is when novels are " modernized" . Since the players have suddenly phones instead of phones, computers instead of index cards, etc. .. Sounds first not so tragic, but still thought it is found that then almost nothing can remain as in the original, in the last 30 years the world has changed strikingly. And apart from the stories of his time worked would today did not write any more. Just compare the times Edgar Wallace - with the Bourne - or Stieg Larsson movies. This is not easy! Better you can be the texts as they are anachronistic and old fashioned, then they at least still nostalgic charm - it brings a T Ford not even on the most modern technical standards that would be a contradiction in terms!
